About Us: The Perry Institute for Marine Science (PIMS) is a non-profit organization focused on advancing marine conservation in The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean. Through scientific research, coral reef restoration, coastal habitat protection, and community-based education, PIMS works to preserve marine ecosystems for future generations. PIMS actively engages the public through outreach programs, volunteer opportunities, and environmental stewardship initiatives, connecting science with community action to protect the ocean.
